Samuel M. Salamon,
M.D. F.R.C.S.C., F.A.C.S. graduated from Columbia
University and
Albert Einstein College of
Medicine in New York NY City; and trained in
medicine and surgery in NY ... then did his
ophthalmology residency at the
Ophthalmology Medical College of Georgia.
Following this, he
did a fellowship in corneal transplantation and
external diseases of the eye at the
Eye & Ear Hospital of Pittsburgh,
and then taught as Assistant Professor of
Ophthalmology at the
University of
Alabama School of Medicine.
Dr. Samuel Salamon is
the President and Founder of Corrective Eye Center,
Division of Cataract Eye Center of Cleveland, and is
involved in clinical research, specially in the
areas of cataract surgery, glaucoma treatments and
corneal disease.
He served as Director
of Ophthalmology at St. Vincent Charity Hospital
from 1985 to 2000, and as Medical Director of the
Cleveland Surgical Suite from 1996 through 2004.
Dr. Salamon maintains admitting privileges at
St. Vincent Charity Hospital
and Euclid Hospital.
